VOLUNTEER

One of our Shared Responsibilities at Team Church is serving the Church. When we volunteer to serve others, extending a hand to those in need, we model the heart of Jesus Christ.

Each area of ministry at Team Church is made up of several different volunteer teams who serve on Sundays and during the week. What opportunities are available?

General Load-in and Set-up
Help unload the storage container, carry and assemble gear, set up tables and chairs, put out signage, prepare kids rooms, and do some last-minute cleaning to get the Rec Center ready for our Sunday morning worship service. No experience necessary... we just need willing hands!
Time Commitment: 1-2 hrs per Sunday
Age Requirements: 18 years old (There are some opportunities available for kids and students)

General Tear-down
Clean up and move supplies out of the Rec Center after the Sunday Service. Position involves stacking chairs, disassembling equipment and rolling wires, carrying equipment to storage container, general cleaning, dumping trash and removing signage. No experience necessary... we just need willing hands!
Time Commitment: ½ -1 hr per Sunday
Age Requirements: 18 years old (There are some opportunities available for kids and students)

Cafe Area Set-up/Tear-down
Volunteers will make coffee, set out refreshments and supplies, sign-up sheets and merchandise, and arrange the area to make it comfortable for people to connect and view information before and after the service. People who enjoy food service, decoration, and hospitality will work well in this area.
Time commitment: 2 hrs Sunday morning
Age Requirement: 16 years old (There are some opportunities for kids and students)

Technical A/V Production
Production volunteers who have specialized skills in multi-media, production and technology help Team Church hold creative and relevant Sunday Services. Techs may help with setting-up audio/visual equipment, running a sound board, working as a stage hand, filming the service and/or projecting the slides during the service. Some A/V knowledge preferred; training available.
Time commitment: 1-2 hrs Sunday morning
Age Requirement: 18 years old (There are some opportunities for volunteers in the 9th grade-17 years old)

Worship Musicians & Vocalists
Use your musicals skills to create a worship experience for attendees on Sunday mornings. Positions available for musicians (rock or orchestral) and vocalists (soloists or ensemble);
Audition required.
Time Commitment: 5 hrs Sunday morning and 2 hrs Thursday nights.
Age Requirement: 16 years old.

Hosts & Greeters
Meet and greet guests at the door, distribute handouts, and mingle during the connection café time. Help guests find their way around the Rec Center and get kids checked in to All-Stars.
Time Commitment: 1 hr Sunday morning.
Age Requirement: 16 years old.

Team Kid Preschool Caregivers
Care for our nursery and preschool children in age-appropriate classrooms. People who enjoy holding babies or playing with small children will be best suited.
Time Commitment: 2 hrs per Sunday, 1 Sunday per month
Age Requirement: 18 years old. (there are opportunities for volunteers in the 6th grade-17 years old)

Team Kid Elementary Assistants
Help with our Kindergarten-5th grade kids. Mornings include DVD study, craft time, and worship time.
Time Commitment: 2 hrs per Sunday, 1 Sunday per month
Age Requirement: 18 years old (there are opportunities for volunteers in the 9th grade-17 years old)
