Steve Miller: Lead Pastor
Steve is the lead pastor of the Lancaster County campus of Team Church. Every Sunday morning he relates creative Biblical messages that connect like a warm conversation. Over the last nine years in Kershaw, he has become known for his loving involvement in the community and his partnership with other local churches, spanning denominations and styles. Steve holds a Master of Divinity degree from Erskine Theological Seminary, and is employed as a chaplain at the Kershaw Correctional Institution. He is married to Alison and has four children – Haven, Hannah, Jackson, and Maya.

 

Olivia Hann: Worship Leader

Olivia Hann is a Kershaw, SC. native and former member of the Team Church Matthews Campus Worship Team.  She lived and served in the Charlotte area for 7 years until her return to Kershaw in 2007.  She and her husband Gordon began as a part of the core launch team of the Lancaster Co. Campus.  She plays an integral role in the preparation of the music for Sunday worship.  She and Gordon reside in Kershaw with their daughter. Salem.

 

Jim Timmons: Lead Team

Dr. Jim Timmons, Jr. was raised in a Christian home in Columbia, SC, but made a personal decision to follow Christ as His Lord and Savior in 1968. Since making that decision, he has been a faithful member and leader in a church in multiple cities and states. He has served in those churches as a Sunday School teacher, Youth Group leader, church choir member, Deacon and Elder. Involved in the start-up of Team Church, Lancaster County, he has served as a member of the Lead Team since its inception, and serves also as the church treasurer. Dr. Timmons desires to use his spiritual gifts of wisdom, knowledge and mercy to help support and grow the body of Christ, and continues to remain faithful to the development of the mission and vision of the church and to the care and concern of the people. He has a deep desire to see the multiple churches and races of the people of God come together in fellowship, worship, service and understanding.

Jim Timmons was graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Davidson College and Duke University Medical School with a Doctor of Medicine Degree. He continued his medical training through completing a specialty residency in Family Practice at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ; served two years as the Director of the Family Practice office at Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wy, as a Captain and Major in the US Air Force. He then returned to his home state of South Carolina and felt the call from the Lord to practice medicine in the underserved area of southern Lancaster County. He practiced medicine for 37 years in Kershaw, also serving for 15 years as a physician preceptor for medical students from the USC School of Medicine, MUSC, and UNC. Over the years he has also been involved in service to the community through participation on multiple health committees and task forces, Youth Serve and the Kershaw Community Park Council. He has been married to his wife Beverly for almost 47 years, and has three adult married children and eleven grandchildren. In retirement he enjoys continued involvement and service with Team Church, the Kershaw community, woodworking, gardening, tennis, fishing, music and his children and grandchildren.

 

Gordan Hann: Lead Team

Gordan Hann has been an elder on the Lead Team of Team Church since 2016.  He has been with Team Church from the beginning along with his wife Olivia, worship leader, and has formerly served as the treasurer.  Gordan is a professional trumpet artist and assistant band and orchestra teacher at Charlotte Christian School in Charlotte, NC.  Gordan, his wife and daughter always play an important role  in worship on Sundays at Team Church, but Gordan brings a maturity to the Lead Team that helps us make wise choices as Team Church is on mission.
